Predictions and Endorsements
Turn out: I don't think turn out will break 10,000. I am with Gatorman and I will go with 9400 +/- 150*.
Election results*:
President and VP - SWAMP 51.6% (4,773-4,927), UNITE 48.4% (4,477-4,622)
Treasurer - SWAMP 46.3% (4,329-4,422), UNITE 42.1% (3,824-4,021), Susan 11.6% (1,073-1,108)
Senate - I think SWAMP will take more senate seats then Unite, but no more then 6 more then Unite. It will be a close race I believe.
Online Voting Initiative will pass with a vote of 58.4% to 41.6%
* Results and Turn out do not factor in write in votes, all percentages are only off vote counts of voting for those on ballots.
As far as write in votes I think we will see a lot more then we did during the Fall election. More for the President/VP then Treasurer.
Endorsements:
Pres/VP - I am going with SWAMP. I feel Boyles and Washington will follow through with promises and even though Boyles is a non greek with a strong greek backing he will look out for the common student and also will act in the highest ethical manner that SB President should act.
Treasurer - Susan all the way. I think she is the longshot, but she was most qualified last year and still is most qualified this year. I am glad she is willing to try again.

I believe you are grossly overselling unite (they'd have to take a mix of sophomore and freshmen seats for those numbers to add up). But i hope you are right...,.
I love it ;)
20 seats for Unite is VERY do-able. If you look at the traditional breakdowns you'll see that many races tend to be tighter than Swampers would like them to be.
While intranet voting benefited the indy kids in Fall, I think it'll help the Greek party this semester.
As for the exec tickets, I don't think we'll see real greeks voting for JB. It's so counter-intuitive.
I am going with 15... GDI I have my list unfortunately, real life stuff has gotten in the way... can I e-mail it your gmail account instead? I want my Pepsi damnit (note Gatorman, prefers Coke, but knows that it would be much better if GDI had to buy a Pepsi for the winner).
GDI buys Pepsi for no man.
See ya at O&B tonight. I might be rocking the GDI jacket as I drink my contraband Coke.
Is it true that Marc Adler bought you that GDI jacket?
yeah marc did buy that jacket
umm. who cares?
To anyone and everyone. I have just created an IRHA blog this past week. If you have the opportunity please check it out and feel free to post. Thanks!

Susan Henriques, former independent candidate for Student Body Treasurer, will be hosting a debate between the remaining candidates for Student Body Treasurer tomorrow, Monday, March 6, 2006, at 2:00PM in the Reitz Union Auditorium.
Henriques, who captured 23% of the vote in last week's election, is hosting the debate for her supporters and other interested individuals to find out more about the Swamp Party's Ryan Moseley and the Unite Party's Lola Bovell. Both candidates will have an opportunity to introduce themselves, answer questions from Henriques, each other and the audience.
The run-off election for Student Body Treasurer will take place this Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
