Platform Review Short
So I noticed the last post may be too long for you to want to read throught so here are the rules and results, if you want the breakdown then read the previous post.
Rules:
Each issue can be awarded up to 3 points. I will also have the option to "mute" the issue and then a score of -3 will be added in. In order to even things out as each party has a different number of platforms the scores will be averaged and then multiplied by 33.3 to get an adjusted score. I know this will help Unite more as a negative 3 won't hurt as much, but if you have more platform issues then in all fairness it works. I will not be reviewing Susan's platform as I already think she is the most qualified for SBT and have given her my endorsement.
SWAMP
Total Score: 36
Number of Platform Issues: 28
Adjusted Score: 42.81
Unite
Total Score: 47
Number of Platform Issues: 39
Adjusted score: 40.13
So there we go we have a 42.81 for SWAMP and 40.13 for Unite. Looks like SWAMP takes a win just by a small percentage. I know it will be close come Thursday morning. Should be very interesting.

As a fan of Around the Horn on ESPN, your scoring reminded me very much of that, except no winning facetime for the candidates. Great Job.
Thanks for catching the inspiration of my review. I know in around the Horn they do not average their score but I felt to be fair that it was only right to do that average or else of course Unite would win regardless. Since the average would drop the scores down to 1.xx then I decided to multiple by 33.3 (technically speaking a perfect platform with straight 3s would earn 100, making it a percentage) to get an adjusted score. I have to say in the end it came out very nice and I think it fairly represents each party's platform review and the also in turn helped me make my predictions. We shall see in a few days, won't we?
